Video Transcript for Review of Trailer Valet Trailer Jack - Square Drill Jack Weld On 10K - TV44ZR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Trailer Valet Square Drill Jack. Now this is a 10K jack, and it's a heavy duty trailer jack that's built for those who are tired of cranking by hand all day. So instead of relying on the old school manual only design, this one's made to work with a cordless drill. And with that cordless drill, you do wanna make sure that it's a non-impact cordless drill.

So that's gonna give you the ability to raise and lower your trailer much faster with way less effort. Now what makes this possible is the internal gear system. Traditional jacks use bevel gears, which are fine for hand cranking, but they're not ideal for powered use. This one uses a worm gear drive, which is gonna give you better control and the right amount of torque when using a drill. So in simple terms, this is designed from the ground up to handle powered lifting safely and smoothly.

It's also super convenient to use because this does not require any special attachments. It used as a standard three quarter of an inch hex shaft, so you're gonna be able to hook it up to a common drill socket and get to work right away. Another nice feature is the drop leg. So let me go ahead and put my handle back on here. And I'm gonna zoom back out here.

Now I'm gonna try to give you a brief demonstration of this. This is held in place by a tethered pin here. It's tethered by a chain here, so you're not gonna easily lose this pin. But if you need to do any, if you wanna drop the drop leg, you just remove the pin like this. Then as you can see, you're gonna be able to drop it as far as you need it, and then just secure it again by putting that pin in whatever hole is gonna work best for that particular use case.

I'm gonna go ahead and put it back in there. Line that back up here so you can see it. So all in all, I think this is gonna be very easy to use. You even got a little handle here on the foot plate to allow you to easily bring that drop leg back up when you're done using it. So that's very convenient. The handle is welded on. Now this does have a total height adjustment of about 27.9 inches, and this has a screw travel of 14 and a half inches. And with the drop leg extension, that's going to give you about 13.4 inches. And the total retracted height, so I have this fully retracted from bottom to top, we're sitting pretty close to a little under 26 inches it looks like. Yeah, a little under 26 inches when this is fully retracted. When this is fully extended, it's gonna be about 53 and a half inches. And some other measurements that might be of interest to you, looking at the outer outer tube here, we're about three and one eight inches. The inner tube, right at about two and three quarters inches on the inner tube. While I'm here, the foot plate measurement, looking at what I'm calling the width here, about seven and one quarter inches. And then the length of the depth here, about seven and five eights inches. So in, in my opinion, a nice, wide foot plate here so you're not gonna have to worry about this easily sinking in. But installation-wise, this is gonna be a weld-on jack, so it's gonna be permanently mounted to your trailer, giving you a solid secure setup. And durability is not an afterthought here. I'm always impressed with Trailer Valet's jacks. This is finished in their well-known wrinkle black powder coat. So not only does it look great, but I think it's gonna hold up really well for you as well. It's gonna hold up well against the weather at the job sites or heavy duty use over time. If you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. One final note, if you want help getting this installed, since this is a weld-on, on this product page, underneath the photo section, we do have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link, answer any questions that it might have for you, and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to hook this up for you. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
